Marcus in the Spotlight: Our 111K+ Draw 2 Winner!

When we called Marcus to share the good news, that he had won the 2nd ever Sunshine Lottery, he simply couldn’t believe it. Not only that, when he called his wife to tell her the great news, she dropped the phone (luckily it didn’t break!). Marcus, who is from Underdale in Adelaide, and is 56 years old, told us that the timing could not have been better, as his current car is getting to the end of its life, so he couldn’t wait to take delivery of his brand new Mitsubishi GSR Pajero Sport.  

Marcus and his wife are planning on going to the US and exploring Route 66 in a Mustang, as well as spending some time in the city that never sleeps – New York!  

Marcus said ‘Getting a new car is amazing. Not only that, I don’t have to worry about the price of petrol for at least a couple of months with the $2,500 fuel voucher! I can’t wait to take my wife on our dream trip to the US with the $25,000 travel voucher, but the $15,000 cash will definitely make this a Christmas to remember. We will be able to spoil our family and also help them out a little bit financially – it’s a tough time for everyone, so any help will make such a difference.
